Cupcake Kits x Meri Meri

The magic of "Meri Meri" paper products and stationery began 25 years ago. "Meredithe (who's childhood nickname was Meri Meri)" made her first cards while sitting at the kitchen table with scissors, pens and "a BIG pot of glitter." "Today, Meredithe heads a studio of 20 designers and artworkers and Meri Meri products are sold all over the world!" Some of their unique products you can find today include: invites, cards, gift sets, partyware, advent calendars and more! But, my favorite are their "Cupcake Kits."
Meri Meri Cupcake Kits come in adorable packaging. They include: 24 cupcake papers and 24 coordinating assorted cupcake toppers.
These kits come in a wide variety of themes... for girls, boys, baby, grownups ... even the bride & groom!
They are delicate little wonders that make cupcakes truly part of the party!
I can't decide which kit I like best...
... but can't you imagine licking the yummy frosting off of the end of the toppers? - yummmm...
From the packaging to the papers to the toppers... these Cupcake Kits are totally "artsy!"

Monsters x Monster Factory

I stumbled across these last night... plush monsters by "Monster Factory." - and I love them! "The Monster Factory is a character toy brand run by Adam Dunn, Rhya Tamasauskas, and Bliss Man. Together they design and create engaging monster characters who live in a strangely familiar world. Combining their backgrounds in film, art, and fashion, the creators have developed a strong sense of collaboration that affects every aspect of their process from storytelling to product design. Their efforts have produced countless monster characters who, despite their appearances, are just like you and me." - MonsterFactory.com
Each monster is given its own unique name and profile blurb. For example this one's name is "Brenda." "Brenda likes to read late into the night and has a surprisingly messy bedroom."
The characters are further categorized into categories such as: Herbivores, Little Blisses, Monsternauts, Earthlings, Peabodies, Substitutes and so on. "Super Tensai," (pictured above) is a member of the "Super Happy Friends Club" category.
This guy is a "Ranger," named "Troy." He "loves to hear the latest gossip and is an emotional eater."
"La Nina" - "Most people who meet La Nina are surprised to learn that she is not an only child."
"Mr. Munk really feels at home in the wilderness. Unfortunately he lacks an innate sense of direction."
"Dr. Bog considers himself quite an intellectual. He also smells like basement."
"Daphne likes to plan imaginary trips around the world and sings along with all her favourite songs." Now, tell me you don't need one of these funny monsters?

Jewelry x Bionic Unicorn

Want to make a statement? Checkout Bionic Unicorn's beautiful jewelry. Each creation is a one of a kind masterpiece. Truly, truly.... artsy!
"Bionic Unicorn features handmade costume jewelry in styles of steampunk, neo victorian, woodland, tribal, nature inspired & astrology."
Designer, Kristin Berwald, specializes in "creating unique steampunk jewelry with enamel flowers and romantic elements." Her designs are eco-friendly, featuring as many vintage and recycled elements as she can.
Kristin has a "formal art background branching from photography, painting, mixed media, and graphic design." However, jewelry is her passion.
Kristin's favorite trend is "steampunk." "Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction and speculative fiction, frequently featuring elements of fantasy. The term denotes works set in an era or world where steam power is still widely used — usually the 19th century, and often Victiorian era England - but with prominent elements of either science fiction or fantasy, such as fictional technological inventions like those found in the works of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, or real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date. Steampunk is often associated with cyberpunk and shares a similar fanbase and theme of rebellion, but developed as a separate movement (though both have considerable influence on each other)." - Wikipedia
Kristin loves to create "blooming landscapes of watch gears, flowers, and magical creatues." She is inspired by "color, organic shapes, and cultural influences from the world." Her designs are "statements of bio-mechanic harmony, of plants and nature wound with machines."
I absolutely love that her jewelry has its own style, though influenced by current trends... she puts her own "spin" on each piece. Further, her photography is gorgeous! - I could look at her jewelry photos all day long!
You must visit Bionic Unicorn's links below. I had a hard time narrowing down which pieces to include in this post - there are too many and so hard to choose!
