Check out these plates by Krisatomic, I love their simple yet intricate designs. Each is hand painted making them exclusive pieces of art. Geometric shapes and icons decorate the plates like lace but have a very modern style.

Chandeliers from Layla Grayce

It seems that these days the trend for overhead lighting is fairly boring... many dining rooms resort to a neutral, modernized version of the chandelier, and that's sad. I am very much in favor of the elegance that chandeliers can bring to a room. - Any room for that matter, a master bath, bedroom, studio. ;) I just love the POP of drama and beautiful lighting that illuminates from them. They are expressive and becoming more and more colorful! This "Maura Daniel Mimi 3 Light Chandelier in Turquoise & Gold" is one of my favorites from the wide selection offered at LayLa Grayce. The gold and turquoise color palette highlighted with clear glass beads is just perfect. It's a blend of classic and chic.

You could say that fibers, colors, and textiles are my passion.

"Knitted Babes" x Claire Garland

"Knitted Babes" is a book of "five dolls & their wardrobes to knit & stitch." I am not a knitter but might need to learn or buy this book and have a sister or my Mom make me one! No matter what your age, you'll fall in love with these dolls' peculiar, sweet, little faces and adorable details!
"You won’t be able to resist these knitted “retro rag dolls”—Dot Pebbles, Bunny Bright, Flo Tilly, DD Diva, or Rudy Ranch. Each comes with a wardrobe to make of handknit and handsewn trendy clothes. In this truly simple and easy-to-use technique book, knitters only need to know how to knit and purl; the practical knitting and sewing know-how section illustrates the simple stitches used to whip them up. Sewing templates to photocopy and use are included, along with knitting charts and advice on washing and caring for these dolls. The 130 fun photographs and the five sections devoted to creating each doll’s identity and her fun clothes and accessories make this a book to treasure."

Creamer & Sugar Set x Whitney Smith Pottery

Whitney Smith Pottery has many pottery pieces available to buy, but I wanted to demonstrate the beauty of each piece when spotlighted alone. This piece is my favorite, I love the "fern" color and beautiful clean, slick lines of it's design. It is timeless and would look lovely on any table no matter what the occasion!

Whitney writes,
"My design sense is primarily informed by my obsession with flowers and other forms found in nature." ... "all of my pieces are thrown on the potter's wheel first, then carved and textured into their final shape."
Definitely visit Whitney Smith Pottery. You'll find a gift to give to yourself and probably someone else! :)

Zipper Pouches x LouLouBell

I think these fashionable little zipper pouches by "LouLouBell" are just great! They are available in a wide variety of fun, colorful, trendy patterns... and in 2 different sizes as well. The pouches are designed with an "obsession for color and texture," which is evident in the pouches sleek, modern look.

Their prices are great too! I'd consider buying a couple different color combos to match with different outfits. They'd be great to toss in a suitcase for a trip and use as a small purse rather than lugging some chunky bag around all day. :)

Owner of LouLouBell, Lindsay, writes...
"We ladies have a lot of little things floating around in our big purses - from lip gloss to jewelry, business cards, cell phones, coins, pens, etc. So get organized! From cute to sophisticated, luxurious to comfortable, you’ll find one to fit your individual style."
... and I couldn't agree more! I can't tell you how many times my cell is ringing and I frantically dig through some oversized satchel hunting for it, meanwhile I miss the call! Maybe a LouLouBell pouch would do the trick! So if you're looking to get organized, carry a smaller trendier little purse, or for a great gift item... shop the entire collection here!
